The Olde English Bulldogge is a cross between a purebred English Bulldog, American Bulldog, American Pit Bull Terrier, and Bullmastiff.
The Olde English Bulldogge is a designer dog breed from the United States. The origin and the creation of the breed are somewhat unique because the ultimate goal was not to create a new dog breed from scratch, but rather re-create a centuries-old breed. The Olde English Bulldogge was developed by David Leavitt in 1971, who crossed an English Bulldog with an American Bulldog, Pitbull, and Bullmastiff. His goal was to develop a canine that had the looks of the 18th century Bulldog and the personality of the modern English Bulldog. He also wanted to ensure the breed wouldn’t have breathing problems. That’s a complex goal for any dog breeder.
What Motivates Us
Our beloved Kashmir is why we fell in love with this breed over and over. Sure we produced puppies before her but not like this girl! Her unconditional loyalty and love, and how she was what each person in our family needed is why we decided to continue to better our program and more so the breed!
There’s no better feeling than when we match one of our precious pets with their caring new owner. It’s why we put so much time, love and effort into making sure these special bulldogges continue to be bred.
We’ve learned a lot about the process since our first bulldogges were born and have become a modern day name in the Oldie world. To find out more or to reserve one of these wonderful animals, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to tell you everything you need to know.
